LLM / NLP Engineer

London office, Vauxhall

Full time, 5 days in office

At Consigli, we’re building technology that transforms how engineering and real estate projects are designed and delivered. We’re now looking for an LLM/NLP Engineer to help develop and integrate cutting-edge natural language technology into our platform.

This role is about taking state-of-the-art NLP and large language model techniques and applying them to real-world problems — turning unstructured text and other forms of data into structured, actionable knowledge.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and deploy NLP/LLM based solutions into production

  • Using various LLM models with latest approaches (agentic, context engineering) to solve challenging problems

  • Work end-to-end on ML solutions: from data preparation and model training to evaluation, deployment, and monitoring

  • Develop text representation and semantic extraction pipelines for structured knowledge from unstructured data

  • Apply advanced machine learning techniques (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs) to tasks such as Named Entity Recognition, Information Extraction, and Entity Linking

  • Collaborate with product teams and domain experts to integrate NLP features into our SaaS platform

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field

  • Hands-on experience with NLP techniques for text representation and semantic data extraction

  • Proven experience working end-to-end on ML solutions

  • Proficiency in Python and ML/NLP frameworks (SpaCy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras)

  • Strong understanding of state-of-the-art ML methods including Transformers, CNNs, and RNNs

  • Experience solving NLP tasks such as Named Entity Recognition, Information Extraction, and Entity Linking

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with legal or technical documents

  • Familiarity with large-scale data pipelines and deployment in cloud environments (we use Azure)

  • Knowledge of LLM techniques such as fine-tuning, prompt engineering, context engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams

Our Hiring Process

  • Questionnaire to get a feel for your mindset and priorities

  • 15-minute screening call

  • Coding case: A hands-on task to assess your problem-solving and technical skills

  • In-person meeting with our leadership team — COO, Head of Product, and CTO

  • Final cultural fit check with our CEO

Why Join Consigli?

  • Work on real-world problems where NLP and LLMs make a measurable impact

  • Be part of a team where your work matters, and your ideas become real

  • Collaborate with sharp, driven colleagues in a culture of trust, ownership, and high standards

  • Enjoy a dynamic hybrid setup, balancing focus and collaboration

  • Contribute to building smarter, more sustainable solutions for the built environment
