Product Manager – Engineering AI

London (Vauxhall)

Full time, 5 days in office

Since 2020, Consigli has been working to fundamentally change how real estate and infrastructure are designed and delivered. Our industry has endured decades of declining productivity, high risk, and fragmented processes. Spending years and vast resources delivering over-engineered, underperforming assets is no longer acceptable.

We flipped the traditional value chain upside down. Instead of engineering being a late-stage bottleneck, we made it a fast, AI-driven front-end enabler. From day one, engineering creates value by planning higher performing assets for owners, users, and society. With AI, up to 80 percent of today’s engineering work can be automated, allowing human experts to focus on judgment, innovation, and true value creation.

This is not theoretical. We come from the industry and have trained the Autonomous Engineer on real projects, solving real problems. The impact is measurable: AI-driven optimization can reduce material use by up to 20 percent. In a sector responsible for nearly 40 percent of global resource consumption, this is a meaningful step toward greater sustainability and competitiveness.

Consigli is now part of AECOM, building on a longstanding collaboration in AI for infrastructure delivery. Being part of AECOM’s global organization allows us to scale this approach worldwide, improving efficiency, accelerating outcomes, and delivering greater value for clients.

Are you a high performer who wants to be part of something extraordinary?

We only hire high performers, because exceptional people thrive when working with other exceptional people. We offer a high-performance environment for those who are not satisfied with the ordinary and who want to help redefine engineering for a better, more sustainable world.

About the Role

We are now looking for truly hands-on Product Managers to help us extend our impact from real estate into infrastructure, including water treatment, roads, rail, and bridges. This is not just a coordination or reporting role. You will work directly with engineers, data, and live projects to shape and ship AI-driven products used in real delivery.

The Product Manager owns the product end to end, from early concept through deployment and continuous improvement, and is directly involved in building and shipping it. You will work hands-on with engineers, domain experts, data, and live projects to design, test, and refine AI-driven products used in real AECOM deliveries.

The role is accountable for delivering measurable impact, including direct cost savings, material reductions, and quality improvements for AECOM’s clients. You must be commercially minded and understand the particular needs of AECOM’s clients and how their projects are delivered in practice, not just the traditional outputs.

You are expected to challenge established ways of working and turn artificial intelligence into a concrete competitive advantage for AECOM by embedding it directly into engineering workflows, not as an add-on or concept.

This role requires a self-driven builder who takes full ownership of the product end to end, from problem definition to adoption on live projects.

As Product Manager, you will:

  • Set product direction together with management and domain experts

  • Break down today’s deliverables and challenge the status quo

  • Define and own product roadmaps

  • Drive sprints, hackathons, and fast-paced delivery cycles with engineering teams

  • Transform user needs into AI-enabled workflows that disrupt how engineering is done

  • Work closely with other Product Managers to ensure a coherent product portfolio and coordinated development efforts

Who You Are

  • You are not a slide-deck Product Manager; you are comfortable getting into the details and working side by side with engineers and users

  • A hands-on builder motivated to disrupt and reinvent an entire industry

  • Several years of experience in engineering or product development within one of these areas: buildings, roads, rail, bridges, or water treatment plants

  • Comfortable with technology – you can understand code, and ideally write a little yourself

  • Strong communicator who thrives at the intersection of business, engineering, and technology

  • Energized by working in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals

  • Willing and able to work 5 days a week in our London office

Qualifications

  • Minimum Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Proven experience in product development and delivery

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability

What We Offer

  • A chance to redefine how an entire industry works, with direct impact on sustainability and competitiveness

  • An ambitious team with deep industry knowledge and global vision

  • A fast-paced, creative environment where experimentation is encouraged

  • Competitive compensation
